It is always an important and rare occasion when a new bird is seen in Budapest. This week there have been hundreds of fieldfares in the open areas of our neighborhood. They are cousins to the robin and blackbird (thrush). They are more shy than the robin, but act so much the same. They must be a sign that spring is nearby!
