We tried out a new eating place the other night with our apartment-mate Sharon. Marika Nene was recommended in a recent magazine as the best place in Budapest for hamburgers. Well, we had to see for ourselves. It's too bad Aunt Marika had run out of some necessary ingredients for some of her burgers (mushrooms, bacon, kolbasz), but we enjoyed the sandwiches nonetheless. We really appreciated the quaint feel of the place, where the four tables are nestled into the kitchen, and where cigarette smokers just never came! (Aw, too bad!)It was actually quite refreshing. Overall, we would give the place a B+.
Next time we go, we'll bring the camera along.
