On Saturday (March 14 ) we happened on this rehearsal for the Independence Day celebration. The video is taken in front of the Hungarian National Museum where in 1848 on these same steps Sandor Petofi recited his famous poem that now is Hungary's National Anthem. It marks the beginning of the war for independence of Hungary from the Hapsburgs.

If I may make a little correction: The two verses above come from the poem "National Song" by the famous Hungarian poet Sándor Petőfi from 1848. He wrote it in connection of the 1848-49 uprising and liberty war. Word is that he first presented it in front of a huge crowd gathered at the National Museum on March 15, 1848. Jack, you should post it in Hungarian as well!
