The Sleds Come Out

The snow began yesterday afternoon and continued off and on today, leaving between two and three inches of wet snow. Because the temperature was around or above the freezing point, many of the sidewalks were just wet this afternoon. I took the picture from our bedroom window as some of the pre-schoolers were coming out to play. This is our biggest snowfall so far. There were many parents out with their kids on big wooden sleds; none of the molded plastic that we are accustomed to back home. The snow is appreciated because it covers up the dirtiness for the time being.
