Most of the walk was uphill, with the participants stopping fourteen times for reading , prayer, and response. While walking the rosary was recited.
Two of the men carried a portable sound system so that everyone could hear the priest.
Participants took turns carrying the cross.
The final stop was at the catholic church. When the walk was finished everyone was invited to warm up with some hot tea.
As you watch this video, you can imagine how foreign and yet interesting and meaningful this experience was for us.
