Christmas Market

Each year the Vörösmarty Square is filled with booths selling crafts and foods. Thousands of people come to visit, most of them tourists. Many traditional Hungarian dishes are available, including "kakas here pörkölt". This is something that one of my students said would be his birthday meal, and we have wanted to try it. He translated it as rooster nut stew. The sign at the booth read "rooster testicle stew". Yes, we ate it! (Sorry, no picture!)
