Franz Liszt Celebration

Jack had the privilege of accompanying one of his students as a part of a string quartet at a Franz Liszt celebration. This was one of many celebrations in honor of Liszt's 200th birthday. Jack was told this week when the quartet had their final rehearsal in the Bela Bartok room of the Music History Museum that he would actually be playing on Bela Bartok's own piano. It is a beautiful Bosendorfer piano as you can see below. It was a real treat for Jack to be able to be a part of this musical celebration especially because he rarely gets to play a piano anymore.
